Frequently Asked Questions

Where Do You Find Pants That Are Long Enough?

Good question!! I have about a 36" inseam, so I get the struggle! In high school, Alloy Apparel was my go-to!! I have also purchased many pairs of pants over the years from *American Eagle that I have absolutely loved. Many of my jeans now are from Buckle (some examples of their long pants are in my *Linktree shop!).

I also highly recommend checking out Sky Dolls! They have pants and clothing specifically for tall girls. If you are interested, feel free to use my link for 10% off by clicking *here!

If you are looking for cute and comfy yoga/lounge pants, these ones on *Amazon are my favorite! I have multiple pairs in different colors. I tried both the 35" and 37" inseams, and 35" actually fit better on me since I mostly wear them barefoot. It's SUCH a crazy feeling trying on pants that feel a little too long! I love it!

Isn't it Immature to Have Your Style as a Grown Woman?

I have gotten questions like this a number of times. For those who ask this, I see you and validate that you don't have to like my style or content. I know I won't be everyone's cup of tea and that's totally okay!

My opinion is that cute and girly things are not limited to a specific age or gender. I think it is healthy to be playful and embrace little things that make you happy. I guarantee I will be dressing in pink and sparkles even as a grandma (IYKYK). Sparkles are forever.

It is more important to me how people act and treat others than what they wear, and I believe that the very best sparkle you can wear is the sparkle that comes from authenticity and kindness.

Why Do You Talk About Leaving the Church?

People talk about things that are important and relevant to them. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon church) shaped everything about my life: my beliefs, worldview, thoughts, actions, relationships, daily decisions, major life choices, and everything in between. I lived and breathed the church. I simply want to share my own story on my own platforms and hopefully connect with people who "get" it or who genuinely want to understand. But, honestly, even if I was my only audience, I would still want to write and share my story because it is (and always has been) cathartic and healing for me.

Will You Be Gossiping About Church Members?

Sooo many of my favorite people are members of the church. The concerns I have with the church are primarily with the organization itself. The vast majority of my experiences with members are positive. My intent is not to gossip or harm anyone in my personal life, and will try to leave out identifying details and use alternate names as appropriate in any stories that I share. Many details about family will be left out for privacy.

The majority of my content will be addressing my own journey, struggles with mental health and scrupulosity, and perspectives on broader church issues. This includes concerns about the organization and top leadership, using verifiable references, such as church records and legal documents.
